I used a banana, some blueberries, greek yogurt and almond milk. I pulsed it a few times and literally within 90 seconds I was out 8309459535303511410 door. I bought this to be able to take smoothies to work in my lunchbag. It goes and goes, you can put ice in your smoothie, it'll crush it. We just pulse it ourselves to give 8309459535303511410 motor a break. Now that I see you can get one with two jars, and two lids - my only complaint before since more than one person would like to run out with a smoothie sometimes - this is now made better. I'll be buying that one as our replacement. Don't over think, for $19 this is a great buy! I want a Vitamix, but until I can stomach coughing up $500 bucks on a blender I bought this lil guy for quick smoothie making. I have to say - I am surprised how much power this thing has! No, you won't get a "smooth" smoothie, but I honestly don't mind 8309459535303511410 tiny pieces and seeds that much. It's not lumpy or chunky, just bespeckled. However I have only used fresh berries, greens, yogurt, and water in this blender. I definitely would not try to blend hard or frozen things like carrots, apples, celery, or ice...but for what I blend it works. It will definitely do until I get 8309459535303511410 coveted Vitamix. I make a smoothie everyday and it is still working out well. For $15 you really can't complain much. This is a great little gadget. This little blender will not quit.
