Alan Sondheim hat in einer Ausgabe des American Book Review von 2001
Codeworks besser definiert als ich:

| a. Works using the syntactical interplay of surface language, with

| playfully utilize programming terminology and syntax; they don't
| necessarily refer to specific programs. [...]

| b. Works in which submerged code has modified the surface
| language-with the possible representation of the code as well. [...]

| c. Works in which the submerged code is emergent content; these are
| both a deconstruction of the surface and of the dichotomy between the
| surface and the depth. I think of Antiorp's and JODI's dynamic sites
| for classic examples.

Autsch! Du hast mich auf kaltem Fuß erwischt. In meinem Text hätte es
unbedingt heißen müssen, die "Codeworks sind _oft_ technische simple
E-Mails [...]".
