The Great Score 

was conceived to extend over five years and eight concerts from 2001 to 2005 and has its background in the historical context of electronic music. The concerts followed a well defined structure - the score - not based on notes but on a temporal and functional structure.

The live on air and on line performance is going to be a networked performance with artists involved from Bratislava, Budapest, Graz, Linz, Ljubliana, Moscow and Vienna. These cities also have been locations for The Great Score performances in the last years. 

The artists performing at the seven locations are generating the sound material. Each of them is connected via a streaming peer to peer interface which allows them to stream to Vienna and to access all streams sent by the participating artists.
