Festival of EVENTS 'On Time'
September 1st  -  October 8th, 2005

A series of creative workshops, symposia and public presentations with a 
focus on intermedia artistic and art education activities on the occasion 
of the 10th anniversary of the existence of the Klaster Foundation Bechyne

The 'On Time' festival, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Klaster 
Foundation, is a natural recapitulation, but more importantly a reflective 
bridge. It is the evaluation of the cooperation which has taken place and a 
challenge to discover new partnerships.

Among key themes that will be addressed figure the attempt to connect 
artistic and educational activities, intermedia approaches (stepping over 
the border of individual genres of art) and issues concerning the existence 
and management of learning centers.

The festival is comprised of a series of creative workshops, symposia, 
presentations, discussions and other accompanying activities. It 
encompasses a vast spectrum of artistic genres: fine art, performance, 
music, literature, stage design, architecture and their spontaneous or 
permanent interconnectivity. It also aspires to provide a space for 
artistic and scientific "creative encounters" of individuals from various 
fields (education, sociology, ecology...), by examining the approaches and 
means employed by artists, theoreticians, managers, architects, experts as 
well as novices...
For the public at large the festival is an opportunity to become acquainted 
with excellent however little known artistic projects and trends. A series 
of workshops led by acclaimed lecturers and the presentation of dozens of 
Czech and international artists will take place in the attractive location 
of a gothic monastery, its gardens and immediate surroundings.
