EMARE- Stipendienaufenthalt für
europäische Medienkünstler in Deutschland und Niederlande


Das 13. internationale Stipendienaustauschprogramm European Media Artists in Residence
Exchange wird im Herbst 2007 bis Frühjahr 2008 stattfinden.

Für das Stipendienprogramm EMARE können sich ab sofort in Europa 
lebende Medienkünstler aus dem Bereich digitale Medien, internet- und 
computergestützte Kunst, Filmschaffende sowie Klang-und Videokünstler bewerben.
Das Programm sieht einen zweimonatigen Aufenthalt der ausgewählten
Stipendiaten entweder bei IMPAKT (Utrecht, Niederlande) oder bei der
Werkleitz Gesellschaft Zentrum für künstlerische Bildmedien
Sachsen-Anhalt (Halle, Deutschland) vor. Junge Künstler dürfen
sich besonders angesprochen fühlen, Studenten sind jedoch nicht
zugelassen. Das EMARE-Stipendium beinhaltet darüber hinaus einen
Preis von 2.000 Euro, freie Unterkunft, 250 Euro
Reisekostenunterstützung, Zugang zum technischen Equipment und
zu den Studios. 

Der Bewerbung sollte beigelegt sein:
Lebenslauf, (audio)visuelle Referenzprojekte (keine Originale) und
eine Skizze über das im Rahmen des EMARE-Programms zu
entwickelnde neue Projekt. Künstler mit Wohnsitz in Europa bzw.
mit europäischer Identität können eine der beiden folgenden Institutionen 
für den Erhalt weiterer Information kontaktieren oder deren Webseiten besuchen.

EMARE- Grants for European Media Artists for Germany and The Netherlands

The 13th European Media Artists in Residence Exchange will take place in Autumn 2007 to Spring 2008.

Europe based Media Artists in the fields of digital media including internet 
and computer based art, filmmakers, sound and video artists are invited to apply for a two
months residence based stipend at IMPAKT (Utrecht, The Netherlands)
or at Werkleitz Gesellschaft's Center for Media Arts (Halle, Germany). 
Students are not permitted, but young artists encouraged.
EMARE includes a grant of 2.000 Euro, free accomodation, 250 Euro
travel expenses, access to the technical facilities and media labs.

Entries should include a CV, (audio)visual reference projects
documentation (no originals) and a proposal sketch for the project
which should be developed within EMARE. Artists with residence in or
identity card within Europe should contact one of the following
institutions for further details and application form or visit their
homepages.
