sébastian pesot ist kanadischer medienkünstler, leiter des
kunstzentrums sporobole, des medienkunstfestivals espace[im]media
und dozent für kommunikation und bildende kunst an der universität
sherbrooke, kanada. an diesem abend berichtet er über die kanadische
medienkunstszene und den kunstbetrieb in québec. in der
anschließenden diskussion soll es um einen erfahrungsaustausch
gehen, wie die medienkunstszene in anderen ländern strukturiert ist
und wie projekte finanziert und realisiert werden. das gespräch wird
in englischer sprache geführt.

die veranstaltung findet zur finissage der ausstellung 'grant-a-
wish' von mathieu dagorn statt. mathieu dagorn, französischer
künstler, arbeitet und lebt in berlin, geboren in kanada. seit 2006
ist er künstlerischer leiter von adhoc.slash-tmp.

sébastien pesot is a canadian new media artist, director of the art
center sporobole, the new media festival espace[im]media, and
lecturer for communication and visual art at the university of
sherbrooke (canada). during the evening, he will introduce the new
media art scene and its structure in québec. the following
discussion should lead to an exchange of experiences, about how the
new media art scene is structured in other countries, and how
projects are produced and financed. the talk will be held in
english.

this event will take place during the finissage of the exhibition
'grant a wish' form the artist mathieu dagorn. mathieu dagorn is
french artist born in canada, lives and work in berlin. he is also
artistic director of adhoc.slash-tmp since 2006.
