NEW INTERNATIONAL AND TRANSDISCIPLINARY MASTER PROGRAMME
at the University of Salzburg in cooperation with the University

As a postgraduate programme over 2,5 years (blocked sessions, held in  
English) the MA comprises five semesters. The transdisciplinary  
curriculum is laid out at the intersections of art practice, cultural  
and communication studies, and a social science approach to economy.  
Cluster topics in relation to Space & Location, Vision & Change and  
Networks & Decentralisation allow for specialisation in one of the  
central fields of cultural production. Drawing on participants own  
professional interests, individual projects are constantly developed  
further and implemented in their contextual complexity. The programme  
includes a 3-week internship, individual coaching and a Master thesis.

Hildegund Amanshauser, Annette Baldauf, Ute Meta Bauer, Jens Badura,  
Diedrich Diederichson, Elisabeth Klaus, Carmen Mörsch, Nicky de  
Plessir, Robert Pfaller, David Röthler.

The programme costs €2500 per term, each term paid in advance. Partial  
Scholarships are offered. The application deadline for the academic  
year 2010-2011 is June 30th, 2010.

***APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS***
If you would like to apply for the MA in Cultural Production please  
send us the following documents in digital form and via mail:
_Application form: (download: www.w-k.sbg.ac.at/ma-cp) including 1  
passport photograph
_Letter of motivation: Your reasons and interests (approximately 1-2  
pages)
_Curriculum vitae: best in chronological form
_Copies of degrees: Copy of your exam(s) (at least bachelor degree)
_Evidence of work experience: Evidence of former or recent employment
_Letter of recommendation: One or preferably two letters of  
recommendation e.g. from a former employee or someone within the  
academic field
_Copy of passport

***(PARTIAL) SCHOLARSHIPS***
For the start of the new MA in Cultural Production two partial  
scholarships (each 24% off course fee) will be offered.

1) The cultural department of the `Stadt Salzburg´ offers a partial  
scholarship amounting to 3000€ (24% off Course Fee) for applicants  
from developing or/and South-eastern European countries.
2)„Schwerpunkt Wissenschaft und Kunst“ offers a partial scholarship  
amounting to 3000€ (24% off Course Fee) for graduates of the  
University of Salzburg and the Mozarteum University and for graduates  
of their respective Partner Universities.

You are eligible for these scholarships if you are an university  
graduate (with the above requirements) and have relevant work  
experience in the field of Cultural Production. If your are interested  
in one of these partial scholarships please attach a statement of  
grounds to your application form.
