Das poesiefestival berlin setzt die Reihe e.poesie am 7.10.2010 mit zwei Uraufführungen und zwei Deutschen Erstaufführungen fort.
Zum dritten Mal transformiert e.poesie den Eigenklang der Poesie in neue akustische Räume. Am 7. Juni 2010 präsentiert das poesiefestival berlin eine eigene Auftragsproduktion sowie Arbeiten von Gästen des Berliner Künstlerprogramms des DAAD der Sparten Literatur und Musik, die auf unterschiedliche Weise die Übergänge von Sprache in Klang, von Klang in Sprache ausloten.
Die Uraufführung der vom poesiefestival berlin selbst in Auftrag gegebenen, audiovisuellen Poesie-Performance „Constellations“ von Mario Verandi erforscht die Möglichkeiten einer neuen, intermedialen Präsentationsform von Lyrik. Die Performance arbeitet sowohl mit fixierten, auskomponierten Elementen wie mit improvisatorischem Material. Als Grundlage dienen vier Gedichte von Monika Rinck. Die Konstellationen des Kosmos, der Gestirne und Planeten spielen ebenso eine Rolle wie die Konstellationen der Sprache selbst. Dabei steht insbesondere Walter Benjamins Begriff der „ewigen Konstellation“ Pate: „Die Ideen verhalten sich zu den Dingen wie die Sternbilder zu den Sternen. Das besagt zunächst: sie sind weder deren Begriffe noch deren Gesetze. (...) Die Ideen sind ewige Konstellationen und indem die Elemente als Punkte in derartigen Konstellationen erfasst werden, sind die Phänomene mitgeteilt und gerettet zugleich“ (Walter Benjamin, Ursprung des deutschen Trauerspiels).
Der argentinische Komponist Marcelo Toledo befasst sich in seiner „Logomaquia“ mit einem Text der rumänischen Dichterin Nora Iuga. Der kurze Auszug aus Iugas jüngstem Roman Hai să furăm pepeni („Lass uns Wassermelonen stehlen“) ist nicht nur Inspirationsquelle für die musikalische Atmosphäre des Stücks, sondern dient auch ganz konkret - durch die Dichterin selbst gesprochen – als elektroakustisches Klangmaterial.
Von Frédéric Pattar kommt das neue Werk „tresse-ébresztés“ für Gitarre und Violoncello zur Uraufführung, dem Texte des ungarischen Dichters István Kemény zugrunde liegen. Und der in Berlin lebende Stimmband-Artist David Moss (BKP-Gast 1991) unternimmt in seiner neuen Arbeit „HYPERGLYPHYX“ den Versuch, aus dem weltweit flottierenden und nicht stillzustellenden informationellen Codegebrabbel mithilfe von Textfragmenten aus Büchern von Kafka, Melville und Steven Pinker sprechend und singend Puls und Rhythmus unserer prälogischen Proto-Sprache zu rekonstruieren.

The poesiefestival berlin will be continuing the e.poesie series on 7 June 2010 with two premičres and two first German performances.
For the third time e.poesie will be transforming the characteristic sound of poetry into new acoustic spaces. On 7 June 2010, the poesiefestival berlin will be presenting a specially-commissioned production as well as works by guests in the literature and music sections of the Berlin Artists Programme of the DAAD, which in their various ways explore the transitions from language to sound and from sound into language.
Constellations, an audio-visual poetry performance by Mario Verandi, commissioned by the poesiefestival berlin itself, in which the possibilities of a new, intermedial form for presenting poetry are explored will have its premiere. The performance works both with fixed, composed elements and with improvised material. The basis is provided by four poems by Monika Rinck. The constellations of the cosmos, the stars and the planets are meant just as much as the constellations of language itself, with Walter Benjamin's concept of "eternal constellations" not very far away: "Ideas are to things as the constellations are to the stars. This means first and foremost: they are neither the terms with which they are defined nor the laws that govern them. ... Ideas are eternal constellations, and if the elements are seen as points in such constellations, phenomena are at the same time communicated and rescued" (Walter Benjamin, The Origin of German Tragic Drama).
The Argentinian composer Marcelo Toledo in his work Logomaquia engages with a text by the Romanian poet Nora Iuga. The short extract from Iuga's latest novel Hai să furăm pepeni (Let's Steal Watermelons) is not only a source of inspiration for the musical atmosphere of the piece, but is also, in a very concrete sense, electro-acoustic sound material, being read by the poet herself.
Frédéric Pattar's new work tresse-ébresztés for guitar and violoncello, based on texts by the Hungarian poet István Kemény, will be given its premičre performance. An Berlin-based vocal-chord artist David Moss (BKP guest in 1991) will in his new work, HYPERGLYPHYX, be attempting, by turns speaking and singing, to reconstruct the pulse and rhythm of our pre-logical proto-language from the garble and gabble of information codes floating unsilenceably all over the world, aided by fragments of texts from books by Kafka, Melville and Steven Pinker.
