Hi -

wer in New York City ist oder Freunde da hat:

ab heute (9.Oktober 2010) stellen wir zwei Kunstwerke virtuell in dem
Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) als Teil der "guerilla" virtuelle
Gruppenausstellung "We AR in MoMA" aus:

Berliner Mauer Goes MoMA
von T+T (Tamiko Thiel und Teresa Reuter), 2010

(Erdgeschoss - amerikanisch "first floor")

Die Mauer ist eine Auszug aus
  "Virtuelle Mauer/ReConstructing the Wall", 2008
von Artist-Team T+T (Tamiko Thiel und Teresa Reuter)

Das "Art Critics Matrix", von Tamiko Thiel, 2010

Die Ausstellung ist eine "Augmented Reality" Intervention ohne Beteilung
von MoMA! Es wurde von Sander Veenhof & Mark Skwarek als Teil des
Conflux Festival for Contemporary Psychogeography organisiert. Die
Kunstwerke werden bis auf weiteres im MoMA virtuell sichtbar sein - sind
aber nur mit einem "Smartphone" und mit der richtigen Applikation zu sehen!

Opening: 4PM October 9th 2010 --- SATURDAY
Exhibition: indefinite length

Location: MoMA, NY - floors 1 to 6 + virtual floors 7 & 8 + garden

On Saturday October 9th, the physical space inside the MoMA NY buidling
will host a virtual exhibition, based on Augmented Reality technology.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
REQUIRED: iPhone or Android + "Layar AR App" needed to view artworks!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The show will not be visible to regular visitors of the MoMA, but those
using an application called the "Layar Augmented Reality browser" on
their iPhone or Android smartphones, will see numerous additional works
on each of the floors. This page gives a download link and instructions
how to view the artworks:

Sander Veenhof, augmented reality experimentalist from the Netherlands,
and the New York based new media artist Mark Skwarek both share a common
fascination for hybrid collaborations between virtual and physical entities.

"We AR in MoMA" is part of:

Conflux festival for contemporary psychogeography
http://confluxfestival.org/
the annual New York festival dedicated to the psychogeography practice.
With the exhibition, the organisers of the event aim to address a
contemporary issue, caused by the rapid rise of Augmented Reality usage.
What is the impact of AR on our public and private spaces? Is the
distinction between the two fading, or are we approaching a situation
with an even increasing fragmentation of realities to be perceived
individually?

Vielen Dank an Mark Skwarek und Sander Veenhof für die brilliante Idee,
die freundliche Einladung mitzumachen, und die ganze harte Arbeit!
