*App goes Art // Art goes App Wettbewerb 2011*

Das ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie schreibt den weltweit 
ersten AppArtAward aus. Prämiert werden die besten Kunstwerke im 
App-Format, die sich als avancierte künstlerische Anwendungen und/oder 
als technisch herausragende Softwarelösungen auszeichnen.

Teilnehmen können SoftwareentwicklerInnen und KünstlerInnen sowie alle 
App-Fans mit kreativen und innovativen Anwendungen.

*Preise*

Ausgelobt werden die folgenden Preiskategorien:

· Technischer Innovationspreis in Höhe von EUR 10.000 der MFG 
Baden-Württemberg, Innovationsagentur des Landes für IT und Medien

· Künstlerischer Innovationspreis im Wert von EUR 10.000

· Nachwuchspreis (<18 Jahre) im Wert von EUR 5.000 der GFT Technologies AG

Eine Auswahl der besten Apps wird in einer Ausstellung im ZKM | 
Karlsruhe präsentiert und einem breiten Publikum vorgestellt*.*

Einreichschluss ist der 15. Mai 2011 MEZ.

We select the best works of art in app format that have advanced to 
artistic applications and/or have distinguished themselves as 
technically outstanding software solutions.

Software developers and artists, as well as all fans of app with 
creative and innovative applications, may apply.

The following prize categories are being awarded:

· Prize for Technical Innovation to the sum of €10000 by the MFG 
Baden-Württemberg – Public Innovation Agency for ICT and Media

· Prize for Artistic Innovation to the sum of €10000

· Junior Prize (<18 years of age) to the sum of €5000 offered by GFT 
Technologies AG

A selection of the best apps will be presented at the ZKM | Karlsruhe 
and to a broad public.

The submission deadline is the 15 May, 2011 MEZ
