> BERLIN PERFORMANCE ART REPORT
>
> The annual Berlin Performance Art Reportaims to document the continuing practice of organisers and Performance Artists in Berlin. The report makes an essential contribution to documenting and highlighting the specific importance of Performance Art for cultural production, and the diverse artistic practices in Berlin. As a document the report will serve as a useful tool for strenghtening the position of Performance Art in public perception and institutional discussions. This is of special importance for an art form that remains hybrid and ephemeral in practice and in the various formats of its presentation. TheBerlin Performance Art Report is a non-commercial, no budget and no profit pubblication. It will be published in an edition of 2.000 and distributed at all venues and locations participating in MPA-B.The publication of your information is free-of-charge. To include your activities in the report please read and download this file(German/English) and send your submissions to: florian at mpa-b.org

> MPA-B VOLUNTEERS
>
> MPA-B is looking for volunteersinterested in lending a helping hand in May. Throughout the Month of Performance Art, there will be a series of initiatives, performances, projects and events, as well as the usual mundane office jobs and spiritless computer tasks, that will need the support of people of any age, skill, passion, commitment, reliability, sense of humour, madness and time. As a labour-of-love project, MPA-B is unfortunately unable to financially compensate its volunteers, however those involved will have a chance to see some very cool performances, be part of a special and unique initiative, make new contacts, friendships and be able to say to their grandchildren or neighbours: I WAS THERE! If you have a genuine interest in MPA-B and some time to spare in May, please send an email tofrancesca at mpa-b.org with all your contact details, a brief outline of your skills, and time schedule.

> MPA-B VIDEOGRAPHERS & PHOTOGRAPHERS

> MPA-B is looking forvideographers and photographers (with own gear) interested in documenting the variety of projects, performances and other cool initiatives which will be part of our programme in May. The fully credited documentation will be published on our websites (homepage, flickr, vimeo, and youtube) as well as serve for promotional material for future editions of MPA-B, and to give participating artists an opportunity to have well documented and good quality images for their portfolios. We also intend to host an exhibition in late October where this documentation will be showcased. Unfortunately we are not able to offer any compensation at this stage, but we can offer the opportunity of collaborating with us on a very unique and visually enticing project, and the possibility of exhibiting your work in October. If you are interested in helping us out please send an email tofrancesca at mpa-b.org with your contacts details, and links to your work.
