Hallo!

Nächste Woche ist es soweit. Die dritte Ausgabe von Soundwatch Music
Film Festival zeigt  vom 06.11.-21.11.2019 über 15 aktuelle
Musikdokumentarfilme  und eine Filminstallation mit DJ Set. Im Programm
sind Filme über New Order, PJ Harvey, NEU!, Bob Rutman, City, Pankow,
Sandow, Frederic Rzewski, Last Poets, Itaca, Ricky Shayne, MTV, Kode9,
Krautrock, Hip Hop in Frankreich und Nahen Osten, Yacht Rock,
russischer/sowjetische Indie- und Avantgardeszenen in St. Petersburg und
Jekaterinburg, Pioniere der elektronischen Musik, Rockjournalismus,
animierte und experimentalle musikbasierte Kurzfilme u.v.a.

Spielorte sind Lichtblick-Kino, silent green Kulturquartier, ACUD Kino
und Werkstatt der Kulturen

Am 06.11.2019 wird das Festival um 20:00 im silent green Kulturquartier
(Gerichtstr. 35, 13347 Berlin-Wedding) mit der Berlin-Premiere von *New
Order: Decades* und After Show Party mit *Mark Reeder* (DJ Set)

Der 30. Jahrestag des Mauerfalls wird am 09.11.2019 ab 20:00 im
Lichtblick-Kino, das nahe an der ehemaligen Stadtgrenze liegt, mit einem
Filmprogramm und Installation von Gerd Conradt reflektiert. DJ Robert
Mießner legt dazu Musik des 80er Ostundergrounds auf. Um 22:30 folgt
eine Sondervorführung des Dokumentarfilms Herbststimmen von Sven Hecker
über die Rolle von DDR-Musikern bei dem Umbruch im Herbst 1989.

Coming next week! The third edition of the Soundwatch Music Film
Festival will take place from November 6 to November 21, 2019 with 15
new music documentaries and a film installation with DJ Set. The program
features films about New Order, PJ Harvey, NEU!, Bob Rutman, City,
Pankow, Sandow, Nautilus Pompilius, Frederic Rzewski, Last Poets, Itaca,
Ricky Shayne, MTV, Kode9, Krautrock, Hip Hop in France and the Middle
East, Yacht Rock, indie and avantgarde scenes in St. Petersburg and
Yekaterinburg, pioneers of electronic music, rock journalism, animated
and experimental shorts set to music and more.

Venues are Lichtblick-Kino, silent green Kulturquartier, ACUD Kino and
Werkstatt der Kulturen

On November 9, 2019, starting at 8 p.m. at Lichtblick-Kino, located
close to the site of the former Berlin Wall, the festival will reflect
the 30th anniversary of the opening of that border with a film program
and installation by Gerd Conradt, musically accompanied by 80s Eastern
underground music selected by DJ Robert Mießner

At 10:30 p.m. is a special screening of Herbststimmen (Autumn Voices) by
Sven Hecker which explores the role of GDR rock musicians in the autumn
1989 civil rights movement.
