Dear Trebor Scholz
the interview ( a rather long one) to Susan Sontag was printed in an italian
newspaper about a week ago.
I don't remember if it was a translation from english.
It might have been an italian interviewer.
And it might be the "Manifesto"( radical newspaper) and not "Repubblica"(
leading centreleft newspaper).
On Repubblica surely was the short statement.
That was presented as having produced a strong critical reaction in other
media in the states.
I will try to find out next week.
