Stephen Kovats focused on his personal observations considering 11.09.
in NYC and its consequences. He wondered how did demolition of the
city's identity influenced on politics, media and art itself, and
compared this situation with Novi Sad, which has lost it's identity (all
bridges) during air strikes in 1999.

Stephen Kovats (CAN/H) architect and media activist. During the 90s he
created the Media electronics studio in Dessau, in which he conceived
and led several international projects within the range of architecture
and new media art. His main projects were OSTRANENIE (93 95 97), the
forum of electronic media. He published the book MEDIA REVOLUTION about
the influence of new media on the transformation process in central and
Eastern Europe. Presently, Kovats lives in New York.
