Well, now that we've buried the Germanic techno 'cyberspace' 
stuff perhaps we could all get 'on message' for the 
digital cultural theme for the coming year or so?

I mean the Violence theme is so passe, so played out,
so last year. So dated. So 9 11 01.

First, it's important to stress the distinction
between pleasure and joy, or plaisir and jouissance
and to examine how this is played out in different 
cultural contexts.
