Picture dis=A9  de titel voor het gezamenlijke optreden van eni-less en
TCW 23 tijdens deze dot.nu  is een verwijzing naar de zogenaamde
picture-disc: Een vinyl plaat met daarop een foto, meestal van de
artiest in kwestie. Turntablist eni-less mixt live platen tot een
soundtrack, beeldkunstenaar TCW 23 mixt live zijn beelden aaneen tot
een filmtrack. Beeld en geluid bouwen ter plaatse een verhalende
structuur op. Doel is te komen tot een live filmsoundtrack, met beeld
en geluid als =E9=E9n geheel.

Enio Ramalho (eni-less) is een van de dj=92s van Zucco 103, lid van
Redrum Squad en oprichter van het turntablismfestival National
Phonographic. Arthur Ivens (TCW 23) werkt veel met de relatie tussen
beeld en geluid. Ivens is een van de oprichters van het
kunstenaarscollectief F.A.R.B.: foundation against repetitive
behaviour, dat zich vooral bezighoudt met cross-over projecten.

Ontayso (B)
Koen Lybaert, Esther Santoyo en Dave Vanderplas  leden van Llips. en
Starfish Pool  vormen samen Ontayso. Onder het label U-cover Records
brengen ze vermengingen van akoestische muziek en elektronica.
Melodische sax, gitaren en subtiele percussie worden gemixt met
opnamen die ze buiten maken, lagen elektronische manipulatie van
akoestisch geluid, samples en meerdere synthesizers. Tijdens de
dot.nu presenteren zij een voorpremi=E8re van hun eerste werk Primer
Memento, een donkere en atmosferische soundtrack. Eind 2002
verschijnt tevens een album van het Primer Memento Remix Project
2002. Ontayso experimenteert live met videobegeleiding.

20:21 (RUS)
20:21 is een videocompilatie gebaseerd op muziek van COH  de
Russische muzikant Ivan Pavlov  die in juni 2002 live heeft
opgetreden tijdens een dot.nu. Pavlov heeft voor deze korte film het
duo Galina Myznikova en Sergey Provorov benaderd voor het maken van
beelden bij zijn bijdrage aan de serie 20 minutes to 2000. Met deze
roemruchte serie  inmiddels een collector=92s item  luidde het label
Raster-Noton de 20e eeuw uit.

In 20:21 wordt onze antieke, papieren en digitale data-opslag belicht
in een spel tussen stilstand en hypersnelheid. En passant levert
20:21 ook commentaar op onze huidige elektronische omgeving.

uitgezonden in Griekenland (door FOURNOS) waar op hetzelfde moment
een 35 uur durend on line performance festival plaatsvindt. Dit
festival - onderdeel van het International Virtual Center of Digital
Culture - wordt gerealiseerd door FOURNOS in samenwerking met een
aantal Europese instellingen. V2_ ondersteunt dit project vanuit het
Cultuur 2000 programma van de Europese Commissie (B).

Picture dis=A9 - as the joint performance by eni-less and TCW 23 has
been dubbed  is a reference to the aptly named =01=91picture disc=92, a
vinyl record with a photographic image on it, usually of the artists
themselves. Turntablist eni-less mixes records live into a sound
track, while imagery artist TCW 23 mixes images live into a film
track. Together, images and sounds thus create a narrative structure
on the spot and the ultimate goal is to arrive at a live
filmsoundtrack where images and sounds become one.

Enio Ramalho (eni-less) is one of the DJ=92s of Zucco 103, he is a
member of Redrum Squad and founder of the turntablism festival
National Phonographic. Arthur Ivens (TCW 23) often involves himself

Records they will release mixtures of acoustical and electronic
music. A melodic saxophone, guitars and subtle percussion are mixed
with recordings they make outdoors, with layers of electronic
manipulations of acoustical sounds, with samples and various
synthesizers. At dot.nu they will give an advance performance of
their first work Primer Memento, a darkly ambient sound track. Late
2002 an album will be released called Primer Memento Remix Project
2002. Ontayso will experiment live with supporting video.

20:21 (RUS)
20:21 is a video compilation that is based on the music of COH  the
Russian musician Ivan Pavlov  who performed live at dot.nu in June
2002. For this short production Pavlov invited the duo Galina
Myznikova and Sergey Provorov to create the images for his
contribution to the series 20 Minutes to 2000. With this renowned
series  now a collector=92s item  the Raster Noton label celebrated the
end of the 20th century.
In 20:21 our antiquated data storage, both on paper and digital, is
highlighted in a game of standstill and hyper speed. In passing,
20:21 also comments on our present electronic environment.

Internet in Greece (by FOURNOS) where at the same moment an on line
performance festival will take place, which continues for 35 hours in
