Going Underground
3rd International Subway Film Festival Berlin

Application deadline is October the 15th 2003.

Please send us all viewing copies only on VHS cassettes (pal / secam 
/ ntsc) , AVI or FLA files on CD!

As the films will be shown on double monitors, it is also possible 
for film makers to cut their films in
such a way as to make maximum use of the two screens. Whereby the 
following points are to be
taken into consideration:

It is not possible to screen a video on both monitors at the same time.
Whenever a video is screened on one monitor, the other is only able 
to show still pictures. Such stills
must be of 800 x 600 pixel size and have 72 dpi. It is possible 
however, to superimpose the individual
pictures on the still side. Take note of the following: the pictures 
are required to appear for at least 1
second and must always be positioned in whole seconds and not in frames.

During a film of maximum 90 seconds length, it is therefore possible 
to switch from one monitor to the
other. Whereby it is important to note that there may be no more than 
four changes between the two
monitors.

Should the film not meet the above mentioned requirements then we 
will be unable to consider
this film for the final selection.

The three winning film makers will be rewarded with prizes of 1000,-, 
2000,- & 3000,- Euro at the
award ceremony on 7th of February 2004 .
