DEADLINE inzending: 1 februari 2005

Het Nederlands Instituut voor Mediakunst en de Filmbank roepen 
filmmakers en videokunstenaars op om werk in te zenden voor Dutch 
Open. Dutch Open is een nieuw festival waar werk van Nederlandse 
experimentele filmmakers en videokunstenaars aan een breed publiek 
van internationale professionals en ge•nteresseerden gepresenteerd 
wordt. Het gaat bij Dutch Open om grensverleggende (experimentele) 
film- en videokunst gemaakt vanaf 2003.

Naast het uitgebreide Nederlandse programma is tijdens Dutch Open de 
jaaroogst te zien van de collecties van Lux (GB), Argos (BE), 
Sixpackfilm (AU), Light Cone (FR) en WRO Media Art Centre (PL). 
Tevens presenteren Impakt (Utrecht) en Filmstad (Den Haag) een 
programma.



Dutch Open wordt georganiseerd door het Nederlands Instituut voor 
Mediakunst, Montevideo/Time Based Arts en de Filmbank in samenwerking 
met de commissie Onderzoek en Ontwikkeling van het Nederlands Fonds 
voor de Film.

The Netherlands Media Art Institute and the Filmbank call Dutch and 
foreign filmmakers who have produced their work in the Netherlands to 
send in their work for Dutch Open. Dutch Open is a new festival where 
Dutch experimental filmmakers and video artists present their work to 
a broad audience of international professionals and others 
interested. Dutch Open aims to represent experimental film- and video 
art made as from 2003.

In addition to the Dutch program, Dutch Open presents the annual 
harvest from the collections of Lux (GB), Argos (BE), Sixpackfilm

Dutch Open is organised by the Netherlands Media Art Institute,
