Invitation to European Visual Arts & Culture Conference


Networking the European Artist-led Visual Arts & Other Visual Culture Sectors

The StabilityMobility Sharing Conference is a two day event taking place in
Rotterdam on the 1st and 2nd of July 2004.

The conference will provide an opportunity for delegates from 
different parts of
Europe to learn from and about some of the innovative practices - both artistic
and organisational - within artist-led organisations. There will also be a
focus on practice that involves collaboration with other sectors including
public, NGO and private sectors.

The conference aims to provide a practical way for those in all fields of the
contemporary visual arts to learn from each other and share innovative
practice, drawing on some of the recent developments emerging from the
artist-led sector and innovative ways of the different sectors working
together.

Key Points about the conference:

1.The conference is made possible through the efforts of the StabilityMobility
Network with support from the European Cultural Foundation, The Mondriaan
Foundation, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and TENT.

2.The conference is open to all visual arts and culture practitioners, people
working in related disciplines in all sectors (e.g. NGO, government, museums
etc) and individuals connected with artist-led organisations working in
Europe.


3.THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE CONFERENCE


4.There are a LIMITED number of opportunities for individuals from specific
regions of Europe to have their travel and accommodation costs funded.
