Associate Research Technologist for Multimedia
The Arts Media and Engineering Program at Arizona State University
announces an opening for an associate research technologist for
multimedia as an Academic Professional at assistant or associate
level. This is a one year, annually renewable appointment. The job
responsibilities include:
• Integration and development of multimedia interactive systems
• Development of online collaboration tools
• Co-chair of technology support panel
• Collaborative research on experiential systems
• Maintain cross platform hardware/software systems
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or
related field AND five years of related experience; OR, Master’s
degree in Computer Science or related field AND three years of related
experience.
Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of multimedia
application usage scenarios, including communication between clients
over network; demonstrated effective communication skills.

Music, Theater and Psychology. AME facilities include a real-time
motion capture/analysis studio with multimodal feedback capabilities,
a black box mediated theater, video editing facilities, multimedia
development studio, sound research studio, digital arts gallery,
mediated classrooms and computing facilities.
