yes, maybe. is it *run* by the *locals*? *who* will get to work/exhibit/etc.
there? i guess it might be okay, as i perceive sara as an intelligent and
insightful person... it's just that i had a certain share of radical
left-wing socialisation which in turn might have made me a little bit
oversensitive to some buzzwords (it was actually ramallah which got my short
rant started, not necessarily the rest).
imnsho some of the old-school activist concepts seem quite illusionary and
should be critically evaluated and, maybe, accordingly rethought. but people
tend to have large blind spots, especially if they have a mission, and it is
in my perception often the missionary's consciousness which is dealt with
and not the actual problem. <sigh>
