Kiez Avantgarde Kunstschule is a contemporary art project 
involvingpre-teen children from Soldiner Kiez in Berlin. During a 
summerworkshop, the artists Kristofer Paetau (FIN) and Ondrej Brody 
(CZ),planned to introduce a group of children into the practice 
ofcontemporary art, thereby referring to the long-time project 
"Schoolof Contemporary Art" made by Avdey Ter-Oganian (RUS) in Moscow 
in the90s.
A presentation showing the first results – and complications – of 
theworkshop will take place on Friday, July 22nd, at the 
ProjektraumDeutscher Künstlerbund, within the programmation "open: 
house".
