POSITION VACANT- Director
24HR Art is seeking a Director with strong arts management experience
to lead the artistic and strategic direction of this dynamic
contemporary art space in the Top End of Australia.
24HR Art gives all Northern Territorians the opportunity to interact
with contemporary visual arts by supporting and promoting diverse
contemporary art practices. This includes an annual program of
exhibitions, forums and public events, professional development
opportunities for NT artists as well as offsite and touring programs.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Director is the CEO of the organisation and is responsible for
all of 24HR Art's programs and activities. The position combines the
skills of artistic director and senior manager. The Director will be
responsible for the artistic program and management, administrative
and financial matters. The Director will represent the 24HR Art in a
wide variety of capacities and will be capable of playing a
leadership role within the local and national arena. The Director is
accountable to the 24HR Art Board.
Key result area: to secure suitable premises for the long-term
delivery of all aspects of the organisation's program.

EXPERIMENTAL ART FOUNDATION curates its exhibition program to
