Dear Diary,
I picked up the papers to read the funnies, when I noticed a curious
headline that read:
"NEW YORK!!!! ABE DUQUE WILL FREAK US ALL!!!"
Perplexed and perspiring, I quickly rushed through my daily ritual,
but got no satisfaction
from those smug, and lifeless cartoons.
So I turned the page.
And got to thinking: WHO THE HELL IS THIS ABE DUQUE of which they speak?
And how does he know I AM A FREAK?
Those dirty-dirty headlines!!!.....
With one hand on my paper and the other on my Muffin (McDonald's
Mcmuffin, that is....)

Yeah, yeah, cheap trick! No we are not doing softcore now (well, not
per se) But we will do anything to get you psyched and ready to come
out and party with us this THURSDAY MAY 5TH at the next Start It Up!,
where we welcome Hollis, Queens finest, Mr.Rancho Relaxo himself.....
- ABE DUQUE !!
First of all this is a record release party for the superb new ABE
DUQUE (Abe Duque Recs./Intl DJ Gigolo Recs/Disko B.) record, "So
Underground It Hurts" released on his own label Abe Duque Records. He
is performing a LIVE SET supported by a Tag-team DJ set by NEUROTIC
DRUM BAND - John Selway ( a.k.a Memoryboy) & Ullyses (Scatalogics) and
the cut'n'paste disco alias of Codek Record's Sasa Crnobrnja, a.k.a IN
FLAGRANTI!
Not to be forgotten, we have quite the solid supporting cast including
TRAPEZ Records NYC resident MARCOS CABRAL, DJ TRENT from the Bentwave
radio show on WNYU, and a G.RIZO warm-up dj set!
