Dear colleagues,
Have you ever had a project go belly up mid way through? Have you had
your funding fall through and had to resort to your own credit card?
Been downsized from your institution because they don't understand the
benefits of having a curator looking at the field of networked new
media? Got repetitive strain injury? Tired of feeling like you can't be
critical if you want to find a way for new media to be a part of art
history?
Then we want to hear from you, and we want to offer you a chance to sit
down, have a nice cup of tea, and tell us about it.
CRUMB will be hosting workshops for cultural producers at ISEA in San
Jose next week. We've invested University of Sunderland and Arts
Council England funding in finding the most sympathetic and insightful
artists, organisers, curators, critics we could, to come and lead
discussions (and other fun theraputic activities) in our Crisis to
Bliss Centre. Teatime workshops will be at 4pm each day. There will be
home-baked cookies.
Register in advance on the ISEA site, $5 per teatime session, or $25
for the week (http://01sj.org/content/blogcategory/121/130/)
Or just drop us an email telling us you are coming, so we can make sure
we can accommodate you comfortably.
