JavaMuseum - Forum for Internet Technology in Contemporary Art
announces the next project environment on the way to its relaunch in 2007,
JAP - JavaMuseum Article Project.
JavaMuseum, founded in 2000, organised between 2001 and 2005
18 curated showcases of netart (Internet based art) in a global context,
resulting a unique collection of Internet based art from the period 2000-2004.
In 2007, it is planned to relaunch JavaMuseum, in order to give
the medium of Internet based technology for creating new forms of contemporary art
again a forum.
In March 2006, JIP - JavaMuseum Interview project was the first step on this way and
has now already a collection of more than 50 interviews by art professionals published (to be continued).
Official launch in September 2006.
JAP - JavaMuseum Article Project is aimed to create a collection and source of theoretical discourses
accompanying the activities of JavaMuseum, which will form also a forum for discussing these issues.
JAP is looking for articles & papers on questions of Internet based art - netart, t
echnology used in Internet based art, art & technology in general, art & communication, Internet culture etc..
These papers may be original (copyright by the author) or published already online or offline. The author keeps all rights.
The papers may be submitted in English language only ( or bi-lingual English and another language)
in RTF (Rich Text Format) or .DOC (Word file) or as reference (link) to the respective online resource
Accepted papers will be publised immediately.
