IBK heeft de afgelopen maanden hard gewerkt aan een nieuwe website. Die
nieuwe site staat sinds vorige week online, en ook de nieuwsbrief heeft
een nieuw kleedje gekregen. Nieuw op de website is de uitgebreide
databank met personen en organisaties uit de beeldende kunsten in
Vlaanderen. Zo staan er een heleboel kunstenaars online met beelden,
teksten, cv, etc. De databank is uiteraard niet-exhaustief en wordt nog
elke dag bijgevuld.

Daarnaast wil IBK ook een uitgebreide dossiersectie uitbouwen: rond kunst
en economie, rond internationalisering, etc. Ook Digitaal Platform zal in
de toekomst waarschijnlijk onder de dossiersectie vallen, maar voorlopig
kan Digitaal Platform van IBK en IAK nog steeds bezocht worden op

Database Visual Arts

IBK, support centre for visual arts in Flanders has updated and restyled
its website. An extensive database on visual arts is now available.

Apart from background information on IBK's activities, the site now
contains a new database on visual arts with detailed information about
artists, art organisations, art theorists, etc. Moreover, the site is
daily updated with news from the world of visual arts, shown under the
'news' category. Every week, a selection from these news items is
gathered into a newsletter. Finally, information is grouped around
specific topics and can be read in files such as e-culture, art and
economy and Digitaal Platform.
