Dear friends of the "Palast der Republik",

As you maybe have heard already, the demolition of the "Palast der 
Republik" is planned for January 2006. This means that the former heart 
of East-Berlin and at the same time one of the most emblematic 
buildings of this city is going to be destroyed.

For this reason we are going to publish an advertisement with the title 
THE PALACE IS THE FUTURE (if posible at least 1/2 page) in one of the 
national daily newspapers  F.A.Z. -- Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung at 
the beginning of this year.

By this means, we want to inform the public about the senselessness of 
this demolition.

 From € 30 Euros on the names of donators will be published in the ad 
(see example below). Your donations of  € 100 Euros or more are always 
welcome, like that you can support as well other actions of “Bündnis 
für den Palast” (Alliance for the Palace).
