Kino-lecture by Lev Manovich and presentation of the Latvian edition of "The
Language of new media" (published by RIXC, Riga : 2006).

Lev Manovich will introduce the Latvian translation of his book "The Language of
New Media" (published by RIXC, Riga, 2006) and will present a lecture on recent
developments in digital culture. He will illustrate his ideas by presenting and
analysing the newest digital media projects and as well as segments from the
feature films "Blow-up" (1966), "Blade Runner" (1982), and "Minority Report"
(2002).

Location: The lecture is taking place at the RIXC Media Space in Riga, 11.
Novembra krastmala 35, Latvia.
