Salford University, Manchester, England, currently looks for a
LECTURER IN MULTIMEDIA
SCHOOL OF MEDIA, MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE
GRADE: LECT A/B SALARY: £24,352 - £36,959
The School seeks to appoint a lecturer in multimedia to teach primarily but
not exclusively
on the undergraduate Computer & Video Games programme of study.
The post-holder will also assist in the effective use of internet and ICT
applications and carry out
subject related research.
You should be familiar with and have experience of teaching at degree level
at least 2 of the following subject areas:
art & graphics; digital animation; games design; website design;
programming; project management; IP law.
You should be able to establish effective links with professional bodies and
industry organisations in
support of the academic programmes and ideally have experience of programme
and curriculum development
in the area of multimedia. You will be expected to undertake appropriate
administrative tasks relevant to the post including
programme management, admissions supervision, tutoring and pastoral care of
students.
You will have a track record of research in a related subject area and will
be expected to develop your research
and use it to inform teaching. You will also contribute to the development
of short courses
and commercial activity within the School.
