Silicon Hackney - Creating a Network for Internet Professionals in Hackney

Do you want to start the next last.fm? Some of the best web  companies of 
the UK have started in the East End, and there is a  growing community of 
creative people working with internet  technology in and around Hackney who 
could benefit from better  professional networks. 

This is why you should attend one of two free events to be held  at SPACE 
(Mare Street). 

The events will kickstart a network of web entrepreneurs,  developers, 
designers, new media artists and the wider tech  community in Hackney. 

Our overall goal is to stimulate growth of the digital ecology in  Hackney 
contributing to the sustainability of the cultural sector  in the borough.

Speakers:  some of Hackney's most inspiring web entrepreneurs,  new media 
artists and also funders ranging from London  Development Agency to the 
National Endowment for Science  Technology and the Arts.
