WRO Center for Media Art Foundation kindly invites to
the Opening of WRO Art Center in Wroclaw on Widok 7 St.
Friday, 29th February 2008, 5pm

The opening is accompanied by a vernissage of the 
Interactive Playground exhibition by Patrycja 
Mastej, Dominika Sobolewska and Pawel Janicki 
launching the Media Kindergarten series, as well 
as with presentations: Nature of Media and Media 
Reading Room.

WRO Art Center

The Center is located within the historic 
premises of a former Otto Stiebler coffee 
roasting plant attic on Widok 7 Street in 
Wroclaw, taking up over 700m2 of functional 
space. The architectonic adjustments combine the 
restored elements of the interiors (including the 
original rafter framing) with the newly designed 
façade.

Apart from the lab activities and research, WRO 
Art Center will launch series of educational and 
dissemination projects, and will continue its 
publishing activities. The Center also makes an 
organizational unit of the WRO Biennale. The 
multifunctional gallery and laboratory space 
enables the simultaneous implementation of 
different kinds of projects.
