Ausschreibung Swiss Artists-in-Labs Stipendien für 2009

Liebe Künstlerin, lieber Künstler,

Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass 
Sie sich ab sofort für eines von vier 
Swiss-Artist-in-Labs-Stipendien für 2009 bewerben 
können. Die Ausschreibung wendet sich an 
Schweizer BürgerInnen oder an Personen, die seit 
mindestens 5 Jahren dauerhaft in der Schweiz 
leben oder die mit einer Person Schweizer 
Nationalität verheiratet sind. Die Stipendien 
werden ausgeschrieben von der Artists-in-Labs 
Forschungsgruppe/Institute for Cultural Studies 
in the Arts an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, 
ZHdK, in Zusammenarbeit mit vier Schweizer 
Wissenschaftslabors. Das Swiss AIL-Program wird 
vom Bundesamt für Kultur BAK finanziell 
unterstützt.

Ihr konkreter Projektvorschlag für einen 
Arbeitsaufenthalt steht in direktem Zusammenhang 
mit den Forschungsschwerpunkten der folgenden 
Schweizer Wissenschaftslabors:

Eidg. Forschungsanstaltung für Wald, Schnee und Landschaft WSL (Bellinzona)
Istituto Dalle Molle di Studi sull'intelligenza artificiale IDSIA (Lugano)
Université de Genève, Section de Physique/CERN (Genf)
École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL, 
Brain Mind Institute BMI (Lausanne)

Die Laboraufenthalte dauern vom März 2009 bis Dezember 2009.

Application Announcement for the Swiss Artists-in-Labs Award 2009
Deadline 1st September 2008


Dear Artists,
The Artists-in-Labs research group/Institute for 
Cultural Studies in the Arts at the Zurich 
University of Arts ZHdK together with the BAK, 
Bundesamt für Kultur (Swiss Federal Office of 
Culture) is pleased to announce that you can now 
apply for a residency in 2009 in a Swiss Science 
lab by submitting a proposal. Swiss artists as 
well as artists who have lived for the last 5 
years in Switzerland or who are married to a 
Swiss person are eligible to apply.

We now encourage artists from all mediums to 
apply with a proposal that relates to the 
existing research fields in one of our four 
participating science laboratories:

The Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and 
Landscape Research WSL (Bellinzona)
Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence IDSIA (Lugano)
University of Geneva, The Physics Section/CERN (Geneva)
École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL, 
Brain Mind Institute BMI (Lausanne)


These Swiss Artist-in-Labs residencies will take 
place from March 2009 to December 2009.
