Since September 2001, from his studio in the district of the 19th of 
Paris, Franck Ancel has attempted to connect the artistic movements of 
last century to the changes of contemporary creation on a planetary scale.

After creating a tribute to the rotunda of the architect Ledoux and  
projecting a video on the screen of the Montparnasse tower, Ancel 
intervenes once again in resonance with Paris, in the  continuity of 
creating his project of multiple "remixarts".

 From the image/screen with the address _104 rue d'Aubervilliers 75019 
Paris France_  taken from the Googlemap on Internet, its urban relief 
has been redrawn as a rhizomatic abstraction, then silkscreen-printed on 
a new backing, portable everywhere and for all in the city.

If this edition of 104 tee-shirts is a creation without visitors nor 
spectators. However it echoes the opening off the arts center, le 104, 
on October 11, 2008 in Paris. The tee-shirts are available via Internet 
rather than in bookshops or artshops, at the price of 27 euros, in a 
triangular paperboard box, numbered, titled and signed by the artist.

Being defined for this edition as a "zérographer", Ancel thus exposes an 
ecology of signs and a saving in means, in the search for durable paradigms.
