V2_ gives 2011 a kick-start with two brand new publications. Be inspired 
by The Politics of the Impure or the new book From Image to Interaction 
by Arjen Mulder, author of Understanding Media Theory. Please visit 
Rotterdam in January during the Film Festival because we organize a very 
nice exhibition called Palm Top Theater. Almost a million viewers on

Palm Top Theater Exhibition
Grand opening party: January 21, 17:00
Location: V2_, Eendrachtsstraat 10, Rotterdam

V2_ presents Palm Top Theater, a Mobile 3D Exhibition, as part of the 
International Film Festival Rotterdam 2011. Palm Top Theater will run 
from January 22 to February 13. Acquaint yourself with a new 3D film 
experience on the iPod and iPad. With contributions by Joost Rekveld, 
Lia, Arno Coenen, Lina Kusaite, Geert Mul, Performing Pictures and many 
others. Everybody is welcome to join the grand opening party on January 
21, we have drinks, food and music (all in 3D) starting at 17:00!

 From Image to Interaction
A new publication by V2_Publishing

the interactive art of today. He investigates the origins of modern art

Soundpiece
Permanent installation Schouwburgplein, Rotterdam

Soundpiece is an installation that serves as an open audio stage. It's 
consisting of 32 small 100-watt speakers set in a grid under the metal 
surface of the Rotterdam square Schouwburgplein. It is open to a range 
of uses – musical compositions, works of sound art, poems, perhaps even 
plays. Sound can be prerecorded, but live audio streaming is also
