present the project "DAILY MEMORIES | SOUNDS OF MEMORY"

Project was born from the need to create a living-performance based on sounds,videos, photos, drawings, texts that have to do with a daily past forgotten even by a few minutes.

We ask you to donate to this project a part of your past or recent memory.

All donated material that you submit will be processed in real time during a live national premiere to be held in Rome between 2 months and you will be clearly informed, as project's makers.

DEADLINE
February 28, 2011

SENDING
-Use the Sendspace.com online storage service that allows you to upload up to 300 mb at a time without having to register.
You need only enter in the "recipient" of the mail respectively Francesco Giannico (mark_hamn at yahoo.it) and Roberto Fega (robertofega at gmail.com) and waiting the end of uploading.
After this step send an email (same address) with a text file containing the data of the person who kindly sent the material and a brief description. (The data are important because they allow us later to thank those who worked through the credits, through web page, press releases, etc ...)
LIVE FINAL
In mid-March will be announced the location and date of the live Daily Memories to be held in Rome.

"An Unreal soundscape"

Our idea is connected ideally with the concept of soundscape in order to create an audio track where sound elements could be recognizable but our intent is not strictly correlated to the “scientific” idea of soundscape. You can easily verify there's not a real place identified by our future recordings becouse every recording will have an its own daily past, an its own memory and a particular context. Following our idea at the end we will obtain “a nowhere place” an inexisting place with no time but full of meaning at the same time. We want to believe thatit maybe a kind of an ideal simulation of soundscape. Please consider the artistic intent of the idea. Thank you

Daily Memories | Suoni della Memoria

Francesco Giannìco e Roberto Fega presentano il progetto Daily Memories | Suoni della Memoria

Progetto che nasce dall'esigenza di creare un living-performance basato su suoni,
video, foto, disegni, scritti, testi, che hanno che fare con una quotidianità passata oppure di un
presente ormai dimenticato anche da alcuni minuti.

Vi chiediamo di donare per questo progetto una parte della vostra memoria recente o passata.

Tutti i materiali donati che invierete verranno processati in tempo reale durante un live che si terrà in
prima nazionale a Roma tra 2 mesi e del quale sarete chiaramente informati tutti, risultando
tra gli artefici di questo progetto.

Le modalità d'invio del materiale son queste:

-Utilizzare il servizio di storage online Sendspace che permette di uploadare sino a 300 mb alla volta senza bisogno di registrarsi,
vi occorre soltanto inserire nella sezione "recipient" le mail rispettivamente di francesco giannìco ( mark_hamn at yahoo.it ) e
roberto fega ( robertofega at gmail.com ) ed attendere che il materiale sia stato messo on line.

-Inviare alle stesse mail un file di testo con i dati della persona che ha inviato gentilmente il materiale ed una breve descrizione
dello stesso. (I dati sono importanti perchè ci permetteranno successivamente di ringraziare chi ha collaborato attraverso i credits ,
attraverso pagina web dedicata, comunicati stampa etc.etc)

LIVE FINALE
-a metà marzo verrà comunicata la sede e la data del live Daily Memories che si terrà a Roma

"Un paesaggio sonoro Irreale"

La nostra idea è connessa idealmente col concetto di paesaggio sonoro e con la riconoscbilità degli elementi sonori all'interno della traccia ma non è evidentemente correlata con il concetto scientifico
del paesaggio sonoro e ciò per una serie di motivi facilmente verificabili. La nostra è più una simulazione senza tempo e senza luogo di un paesaggio sonoro inesistente. Tutti i materiali che perverranno infatti avranno un loro vissuto particolare alle spalle, un loro preciso contesto cronologico e geografico, sociale etc. In questo paesaggio sonoro inesistente ma denso comunque di senso perchè racchiude momenti e memorie dimenticate o accantonate desideriamo perderci.
