C:Art Master's Programme (120 ECTS)
An international two-year masters program in fine art, C : Art
integrates studio practice with research and exploration of artistic
methods. Students are able to develop their practises through a series
of artistic investigations into other disciplines made possible by the
exceptional resources of the University of Gothenburg and harbor site of
Sweden's second largest city. Offering seminars, guest lectures, weekly
practical labs, study trips abroad, and individual studio visits with
international arts professionals, C : Art is a comprehensive and
customized education for the active twenty - first century artist.
In accordance with the Bologna mandate, C : Art follows an eight-module,
five-week academic year. Each module is thematic, designed to meet our
goal of graduating students with broad-based field literacy, each
advanced on the path of personal fluency in their practice.
The two-year program culminates in a guest-curated, graduating
exhibition presented in Gothenburg, accompanied by an illustrated
publication, including curator's essay and student texts. Studios are
provided.
Teaching language: English.
