Dr. Richard Barbrook & Fabian Tompsett. Interview by Marc Garrett,
Dr. Richard Barbrook & Fabian Tompsett talk about their collaborative
group Class Wargames & their current project 'The Game of War'. Guy
Debord, strategist of the Situationist International, developed the game
while in exile after the May '68 Revolution, and came to regard it as
his most important project. For Debord, The Game of War wasn't just a
game. The Game of War is a Clausewitz simulator: a Napoleonic-era
military strategy game where armies must maintain their communications
structure to survive - and where victory is achieved by smashing your
opponent's supply network rather than by taking their pieces.

Irini & Jonathan interview Tine Bech.
Tine Bech, a visual artist and researcher who works with interactive
installations and public art. She was born in Denmark and now lives and
works in London. Her practice is concerned with how we engage with our
immediate environment. Projects have centred on the use of interactive
electronics and location tracking technology, urban spaces and
environmental elements such as gravity, water, sound and light to
develop spaces where participations, play, and experiences of immersion
take place. www.tinebech.com
