Dear Spectrites

After "Project Genesis" at Ars Electronica Center 
(http://www.aec.at/center/en/ausstellungen/projekt-genesis/, 
the exhibition "Grow Your Own" just opened at the Science 
Gallery Dublin and is on display until January 19th 2014.

The exhibition, organised in the framework of the StudioLab 
project (http://studiolabproject.eu/) is curated by artist 
and designer Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg, Anthony Dunne (Royal 
College of Art), Paul Freemont (Imperial College), Cathal 
Garvey (bio-hacker) and Michael John Gorman (Science Gallery).

Evoking the themes of living versus non-living, human versus 
nature, and design versus evolution, this exhibition include 
work by artists, designers, scientists and engineers that 
gets ‘under the hood’ of synthetic biology—exploring some of 
the techniques and research behind potentially ground 
breaking applications.
