The website program will start on the 3rd of July 2016 at 12 pm.

‘Curated by Weekly’ is a digital art project. It aims to raise questions regarding online formats, web-based distribution and the acceleration of digital platforms in contemporary art. In a society of increasing dematerialization, the art object has had its own revival in traditional exhibition rooms. ‘Curated by Weekly’ is a website and a magazine. In cooperation with individuals, institutions and project spaces from the art scene, a new artwork will be published online every week. The piece will only be available for 7 days, with no archive or chance to see it again. While trying to generate a self reflective perspective, the complemetary magazine will be released in irregular intervals. It will include essays and interventions about digital exhibition formats, the experiences of digital curation and the questions about media and matter in the post-analogue space.

The program will beginn with contributions by: Pauline Beaudemont (Artist, Paris), Eva Birkenstock (Curator, Kunsthaus Bregenz), BURNRATE (Project Space, Berlin), CMMC (Artist-Duo, Antwerp), Tim Geißler (Director P/ART Producers Artfair/Gallery Jahn, Munich), Sophie Goltz (Artistic Director ‘Stadtkuratorin Hamburg’/Curator, Berlin), Annika Kahrs (Artist, Hamburg), KOSMO-KULTUR-KIOSK (Project Space, Berlin), Marjolein van der Loo (Curator/Art Historian, Maastricht), Tanja Rochow (Curator, Tel Aviv/London), STUDIO 47 (Project Space, Amsterdam), Judith Waldmann (Art Historian, Hamburg), Benjamin Zuber (Artist, Berlin)
