Paris, NetSci2018 conference, June 12, 2018
Deadline: May 6, 2018
Call for contributions:
Arts, Culture, and Technology (ACT) satellite at NetSci 2018 in Paris
satellite website: https://www.netsci-act.info
A call for contributions is now open for the Arts, Culture, and
Technology satellite session at the NetSci2018 conference in Paris,
France. The aim of the satellite is to provide a forum for researchers
working on the interfaces of Network Science, Arts, Culture, and
Technology to introduce their work to the community through short
presentations or actions that push the mutual boundaries of these
fields, both critically and creatively, and to nurture discussion. We
are particularly interested in contributions that highlight exciting
results, ongoing work, and the crucial challenges faced by the field.
The satellite will take place in the afternoon of June 12th (Tuesday),
2018 at the Ray Charles Room of L’Ecole de Musique Chateauform’
Republique in Paris, France.
The deadline for submissions is May 6th, 2018. To propose a
contribution, please send
1. A three-word title;
2. A 240-character abstract; and
3. A single relevant image (2000 x 2000 pixel max)
by e-mail to netsci-act at googlegroups.com with the subject line
“[NetSci-ACT contribution] Firstname Lastname”.
Accepted contributors will be given 7 minutes, like all other
contributed or invited speakers, and the organisers. Please find more
information at https://www.netsci-act.info
If you wish to attend the ACT satellite (regardless of whether you
submit a proposed contribution or not), please send an email with the
subject line “[NetSci-ACT attendant] Firstname Lastname” to
netsci-act at googlegroups.com by May 27th, 2018.
