About the WAG:

Due to our needs that seem to be increasingly handheld, WAG was born
on 2009! The Widget Art Gallery is a mini single art gallery room fitting
into people's pocket. Every month, the WAG hosts a solo digital art
exhibition related to its dynamic site-specific context.
So the WAG works both as a sort of kunsthall showing temporary exhibitions
and also as museum conserving all the past shows inside an online archive
that creates a permanent collection. WAG website

About the artwork:

"Social fever" by Miriam Pelagalli. November 7 2018 - January 8 2019.
Pelagalli’s WAG room becomes a magnified looped projection of the Instagram
main screen.
The man seated in the center is the fulcrum of the scene, where everything
turns around him. He looks like an indistinct shape, equal to many others
and without any thickness. His silhouette is surrounded by a continuous
turning of other shapes showing always the same content: an alienated kind
of “social fever”.
Miriam Pelagalli is a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, B.A.
graduated from the multimedia art and technology department.
