Python Coding Workshop using the Adafruit Circuit Playground

February 18 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Learn the basics of Python coding! Using the multipurpose Adafruit Circuit
Playground Express microcontroller, this hands on workshop will guide you
through the process of writing programmes to control sensors, rainbow LEDs
and make noise! Suitable for total beginners and those who are more
experienced with coding/electronics.
Please note: this workshop will require you to bring a laptop and install
the Mu code editor (instructions will be sent before the workshop and help
will be available during the session).
Should you wish to take the micro-controller away with you, these will be
available for an additional £24 on the day.
Your tutor will be artist, Toni Buckby (www.tonibuckby.com).

Processing – an introductory workshop

Join artist Toni Buckby (www.tonibuckby.com) for this introductory workshop
in Processing – a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning
how to code within the context of the visual arts.
Learn the basics of programming in Java and make interactive visuals and
animations.
This session is suitable for beginners and more experienced coders. Please
bring along a laptop with the Processing IDE installed (instructions will
be sent before the workshop and help will be available during the session).
