University of Washington School of Drama is hiring an Assistant Professor
in Sound Design!  Priority deadline to apply is 11/28.


With this new tenure-track position, we’re hoping to secure an incredible
colleague skilled in the creation of sound, music, and aural composition to
tell stories via performance in three-dimensional space. This call is
intentionally crafted to keep the doors open to MANY kinds of artists - so
if you are a skilled sound designer in venues outside the regional American
theater system and/or have teaching experience outside traditional academia
you very much welcome to apply! Above all we’re looking for artists at the
top of their field and ready to inspire the next generation of
theater-makers. UW is a highly respected program located in the vibrant
city of Seattle with salaries competitive to similar institutions. Any
