10 Jahre Project Space Festival Berlin

Wir freuen uns mit der Entscheidung der Jury des Hauptstadtkulturfonds (https://projectspacefestival-berlin.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46fd6a1f8a7a2ea3901204e9f&id=0b1745a170&e=0a3bc00fd6) , ankündigen zu können, dass das Project Space Festival auch 2024 wieder stattfinden wird.

Die kommende Ausgabe findet vom 1.-30. Juni 2024 in dreißig Berliner Projekträumen statt und wird das 10-jährige Bestehen des Festivals feiern. Der Spiegel fragte anlässlich der ersten Ausgabe (https://projectspacefestival-berlin.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46fd6a1f8a7a2ea3901204e9f&id=7132646fdf&e=0a3bc00fd6) 2014 kritisch, ob sich das Project Space Festival, das sich in einer Stadt mit so vielen Kunst-Events wie dem Gallery Weekend oder der Berlin Berlinale einreiht, für die Berliner Kunstszene unverzichtbar werden kann. Seitdem haben sich fast 150 selbstorganisierte Räume an den bisherigen Ausgaben beteiligt, was ein umfassendes Bild der Geschichte der Projekträume in den letzten zehn Jahren vermittelt.

Das Project Space Festival lädt dazu ein, 30 Veranstaltungen der freien Projektraum-Szene in Berlin zu besuchen. Mit seinem Programm ermöglicht das Festival einen umfassenden Einblick in künstlerische, gemeinschaftlich organisierte Projekträume.

With the decision of the Hauptstadtkulturfonds (https://projectspacefestival-berlin.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46fd6a1f8a7a2ea3901204e9f&id=64f7c7b937&e=0a3bc00fd6) jury, we are pleased to announce that the Project Space Festival will take place again in 2024.

The next edition will take place from June 1-30, 2024 in thirty Berlin project spaces and will celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary. On the occasion of the first edition in 2014, Der Spiegel asked critically (https://projectspacefestival-berlin.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46fd6a1f8a7a2ea3901204e9f&id=3f87ba7c7f&e=0a3bc00fd6) whether the Project Space Festival, which takes place in a city with so many art events such as Gallery Weekend or the Berlin Berlinale, can become indispensable for the Berlin art scene. Since then, almost 150 self-organized spaces have taken part in previous editions, providing a comprehensive picture of the history of project spaces over the last ten years.

The Project Space Festival invites audiences to visit 30 events of the independent project space scene in Berlin. With its programme, the festival provides a comprehensive insight into artistic, collaboratively organized project spaces.
