Friends of U̶n̶o̶f̶f̶i̶c̶i̶a̶l̶ V̶o̶r̶s̶p̶i̶e̶l̶ 2̶0̶2̶5̶!

Did the decision to pause Vorspiel [1] for 2025 also confuse you? (ꐦ¬_¬) 
Were you also looking forward to the joy and community the 
(pre-)transmediale-season brings to Berlin? If you - like us - are 
planning an event or exhibition for the final weeks of January that you 
wanted to feature on Vorspiel, we want to propose that we join forces to 
build a provisional Vorspiel calendar for 2025. A simple pad as a joint 
and easily manageable resource to list and coordinate the openings of 
various events and bring attention to our artistic communities, spaces, 
and initiatives.

In a year when budget cuts by the Berlin Senate reduce cultural funding 
by many million euros, we find it even more important to continue what 
Vorspiel promised to do: showcase the richness and diversity of Berlin’s 
independent initiatives in music, sound, visual arts, media arts, and 
hybrid fields.

It would be great if we could manage to put together a list of exciting, 
diverse and interesting events to strengthen our networks and keep us 
motivated.
