40 Years of the Cyborg and the Betrayed Generation. Where Did We Go 
Wrong? Presenting the Strike of Ultrafuturism.


ScreenSaverGallery presents a series of songs based on the ULTRAFUTURO 
Manifesto, which is the text formulated by Rossa and Oleg Mavromatti as 
the artistic and political program for the ULTRAFUTURO collective. The 
Manifesto addresses themes of human-machine symbiosis and the necessity 
of overcoming obsolete cultural formats.
In the form of musical compositions, the Manifesto becomes a 
performative act: each launch of the screensaver triggers one of the 
songs, thus reopening the possibility of hearing a radical vision of the 
future where boundaries between humans and technology are redefined. The 
absence of a visual component focuses attention exclusively on the 
voice, text, and rhythm, functioning as a direct appeal.


2025 marks 40 years since Donna Haraway imprinted the Cyborg Manifesto 
onto the collective consciousness – a text meant to disrupt binary 
domination and pave the way for a new, hybrid subjectivity by making the 
biological and cyborg foundations of our bodies apparent. Today, 
however, we bitterly admit: nothing of the sort has happened. Haraway’s 
irony and subversion, chosen as tools of liberation, became mere 
sustenance for the processes of the Informatics of Domination. It is 
into this breach that the musicalized manifesto enters, not as an 
affirmation or celebration of the cyborg concept, but as its 
radicalization with a battle cry. [more at
