şi va exemplifica discursul din sfera publică şi modul în care reflectă starea
actuală a oraşului şi a societăţii în general. Lipsa noţiunii de "sferă
publică" în Republica Moldova în perioada sovietică nu numai că a creat un
vacuum de înţelegere a acestui subiect, dar a şi deschis drumul
"stabilităţii" sălbatice post-tranziţie care a monopolizat acest
spaţiu; sfera publică a fost monopolizată de discursul politic şi economic.
Participanţii din România, Croația, Lituania Germania, Austria, Olanda și
Moldova care au trecut prin procese şi fenomene sociale şi culturale
asemănătoare îşi vor prezenta cercetările şi studiile de caz despre proiecte ce
au ca obiect arta şi sfera publică şi legăturile dintre accepţiunile publice şi
private ale spaţiului în diferite contexte culturale şi ideologice. Va fi
analizate în profunzime schimbările recente ce au modelat mediul social şi
cultural în cei 20 de ani de după căderea Zidului Berlinului şi demontarea
sistemului socialist.</font></p>

contextualize and exemplify the discourse in the public sphere and the way it
reflects the current state of the city and of society in general. The lack of
the notion of "public sphere" in the Republic of Moldova during the
soviet era created not only a vacuum of understanding on this subject, but also
left the doors open for the untamed post-transition “stability” that
monopolized this space, where the public sphere was replaced by the political
and economical discourse. The participants from Romania, Croatia, Lithuania,
Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and Moldova that have experienced similar
social and cultural processes and phenomena will present their research and
case studies related to the connections between the public and private
acceptions of space placed in various cultural and ideological backgrounds. Along
with the project issues will be analised the recent changes that have shaped
the social and cultural environment in the 20 years following the fall of the
Berlin wall and the demise of the socialist system.</font></p>
