Evolving Spark Network Exhibition<br>

'Evolving Spark Network' by Edwin van der Heide is installed for one
week in V2_'s exhibition space. Come and visit us during the
Rotterdam Museum Night or in the following week. An electric spark
is the most elementary way of creating light and produces the
briefest audible sound. Edwin van der Heide took inspiration from
these facts in developing this spectacular installation, in which
sparks fly back and forth 15 feet above the audience’s heads,
flashing and crackling.<br>

Call for Proposals Summer Sessions 2011<br>

V2_’s Summer Sessions are brief themed residencies that allow
promising young artists to collaborate with V2_Lab developers. We
are looking for art projects that fit one of the Lab’s three areas
of focus: wearable technology, augmented reality or ecology. Each
proposal should be conceptually sound and outline a concrete,
realistic plan. Your plan must be submitted as a video.<br>

Call for Freelance Mechatronics Engineer<br>

'Protei' is a fleet of autonomous oil spill cleaning robots. For the
further development of 'Protei' (June-August 2011), V2_ is looking
for someone with experience in electronics, mechanical engineering
and affinity with sailing. The task will be to design and build a
full-scale prototype for 'Protei' together with an on-line
international open hardware community. <br>
