<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.727272033691406px;margin-right:3.6pt;text-align:justify"><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt">Thursday, July 31</span></b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt">, offers an uncompromising opening by an old Sajeta friend—the versatile Bosnian artist and most of all, the sharp-and-crunchy sounding one-man band and singer-songwriter <b>Damir Avdić</b>. We will then see and hear the performance by the upcoming trio <b>Trus!</b>. They will be followed by the fresh Italian line-up <b>Hobocombo</b>, which tries to follow the legacy of the American avant-garde composer </span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt;color:black;background:rgb(249,249,249)">Louis Thomas Hardin better known as Moondog.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt">The grand finale of Thursday’s evening will be the great comeback: after more than two decades, <b>Aldo Ivančič</b> and <b>Dario Seraval</b> will bring to life their band <b>BORGHESIA</b>. Sajeta has the privilege to host the Slovenian premiere of this “new” seven-member <b>Borghesia</b>. </span></p>
<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.727272033691406px;margin-right:3.6pt;text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt">The rich Friday’s programme on <b>August 1</b> will start with a performance by the young composer <b>Bojana Šaljič Podešva </b>and the accordionist<b> Luka Juhart</b>. The next artist on stage will be our returning guest, the unique and innovative vocalist <b>Irena Tomažin</b>, who will try to conjure up the taste of silence which supposedly echoes incessantly. The Germany-based Polish-Iranian line-up <b>Dus-Ti</b> will then present us their remarkable contemporary improvisational music. This show will also be an excellent prelude to the concert of the Italian band <b>The Assassins</b> lead by the drummer and the percussionist <b>Francesco Cuso</b>, who has already performed at our festival a few years ago. The evening will finish with the sounds of creative electronic music which could aptly be labelled as jazz-electronic; we will admire the unique electro-acoustic artist <b>Christina Nemec</b> a.k.a. <b>Chra</b> from Austria and for the peak of the evening one of the biggest names this year, <b>Mika Vainio</b>, an innovative composer, producer and musician from Finland.</span></p>
<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.727272033691406px;margin-right:3.6pt;text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt">The last evening of the festival on <b>Saturday, August 2,</b> will begin with the show by the Italian band of analogue electronic artists <b>Top Banana</b>, who are looking back into the past with one eye while at the same time peeking into the future with the other. Afterwards, the stage will be set for <b>Damo Suzuki</b>, the singer of the legendary milestone krautrock act Can. With his presence he will literally bless the Sajeta’s anniversary. Trio <b>Camera,</b> younger representatives of a harder German krautrock style will take the stage next. The band is famous for their live performances; their ground-breaking shows at various public places (subway stations, parks, streets…) in their hometown of Berlin as well as elsewhere have become a bit of a cult. A Berlin-based Lebanese artist, producer and DJ <b>Rabih Beaini</b> a.k.a. <b>Morphosis </b>will conclude the events with his live-act. Beaini is regarded as one of the most original artists of the contemporary electronic music. His musical expression is shaped by the unique mixture of various styles such as house, techno, avant-jazz, noise, krautrock etc.</span></p>
